Not a week passes without a data privacy scandal or an exposure vulnerability.
This morning we have been made aware of another serious security vulnerability, similar in grade to the infamous Heartbleed SSL bug.
The BASH command exploit allows a hacker full permissions rights to a Unix or Linux box (think most websites, servers, PCs, OS X Macs, various home routers, and more).
Full permission means they can take control of that machine, data and all, and do as they damn please.
We have fixed this patch on all our servers this morning, so our website and client data is secure.
We encourage everyone to do the same as soon as possible.
