We are over the moon to have won yet another award for our rebrand of the German engineering powerhouse Ziemann Holvrieka, awarded as Winners in the ‘Excellent Brands; Industry, Machines and Engineering’ category of the 2025 German Brand Awards.
These awards recognise excellence in branding from across Germany, judged by the German Design Council for creative projects that are deemed to have ‘set new standards in the world of branding’.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our challenge was to evolve a brand with a dated and confused visual identity.
As a renowned global player with 15 subsidiaries worldwide and over 170 years of experience, Ziemann Holvrieka is at the forefront of shaping the beverage processing industry.

The corporate identity was further complicated after the inclusion of the CIMC name, the parent company. This created a confusing mix of names and identities, causing significant challenges in conveying the company’s forward-thinking ambitions.
We worked alongside the leadership team at Ziemann Holvrieka to develop a new strategic direction for the company, developing a comprehensive corporate rebrand that saw the delivery of:
- A new brand identity + logo design
- A multilingual website
- Sales presentations and brochures
- Comprehensive brand guidelines
- Signage + wayfinding
- Exhibition stand design
Speaking on the rebrand, the German Design Council commented:
“Ziemann Holvrieka, a leading company in the beverage industry with over 170 years of experience, has achieved an impressive transformation through its rebranding. The new brand identity seamlessly combines tradition and future by emphasizing both technological excellence and sustainability. Particularly noteworthy is the flexible visual system, enabling consistent and impactful communication across countries and languages. With its clear aesthetics and strategic depth, this project sets new standards for contemporary and global brand management.”
We are so pleased to have been recognised at the German Brand Awards. Having been awarded a Transform Award for the same Ziemann Holbrieka rebrand earlier this year, it certainly feels like our hard work is paying off!
