Ashgate Hospicecare is one of Chesterfield’s shining stars – a wonderful charity who has touched the hearts of so many families across north-east Derbyshire. They offer a multi-bed inpatient unit, day hospice, hospice at home, all with a comprehensive range of therapy and support services tailored to give the very best care to both the patient and their family.
The organisation is ever evolving, driven by an ethos of the very best in patient care. All their services are provided free of charge and this is achieved by continuous fundraising activities and the generosity of their supporters.
“Crush are a wonderful creative agency who get to know your organisation and truly work with you. Natalie is a talented photographer and designer who has worked with Ashgate Hospicecare to create our most successful campaigns. Her personal commitment and attention to detail is remarkable and she has a solution for everything.”
Esther Preston, Director of Fundraising and Marketing, Ashgate Hospicecare
We first began working with Ashgate Hospicecare in 2015, reviewing their brand and identity, along with their patient literature and early campaigns. Year-on-year we have continuously evolved their marketing across print, digital and environmental, along with their well-known annual events including Sparkle Walk, Family Bike Ride, Woofs and Wellies and the Open Air Cinema.
We’ve created colour schemes for their wards, new signage and environmental messaging along with introducing the Ashgate Coffee Co. and are currently re-energising their charity shops to compliment the evolved branding.
Photography has been an underlying challenge throughout and we have tackled this with a variety of photoshoots to establish a bank of key imagery to tell the Ashgate Hospicecare story. Our goal has always been to show the incredible dedication that Ashgate’s staff has for the patients and families in their care – the real-life stories never cease to amaze us!
It’s always a pleasure to work on Ashgate’s projects and we look forward to further evolving their marketing and fundraising initiatives.
